Price point - Z4 Coupe 3,0 si?
Hi folks,
Shopping around for a Z4Coupe. I was looking for either a 3.0 si or an M. The M is preferable but not many stock examples out there. I am also open for a 3.0Si .. From what I am seeing M's are going anywhere between 30-35k cdn $ and inching up to 40K for pristine examples. What would be the price point to pick up a clean 3.0 si? I am looking for the one with following conditions: - Fairly stock - No accidents - Original paint - 1 or 2 owners MAX - has to be stick with Sports package. Based on the above what would my price point be in Canada? Thx! |

I think that you'll find a lot more M cars in Canada then 3.0si as those were only offered in the USA and are actually more rare then the M coupe, so any that are here were imported. I have not seen many around but ones that do come up are $18K-$25K. Ones with sport package are much hard to find though.
I assume that you already seen this one in Windsor Red for 25K, but if not have a look. Shameless plug but if you are interested I could sell you my M Coupe and I'll put it back to stock for you.

Hi Cyclops,
Thx for the response. Yes, I have the Windsor one on my radar. I just wanted to make sure I don't over pay for one. Your M coupe is beautiful. I would want to do mine the same way but I am not sure how much you would want for yours. Please pm me details on your coupe and your $ expectations and as I said yours is modded exactly as I would do mine. Thx again! |

3.0si coupe with MT is rarer in North America than Z4M coupe. 828 manual si vs 2100 M. I have one of each and the si stands on its own as a unique and wonderful car. It irks me to see their prices dropping even as the M is starting to turn. Find a good si and enjoy it for 10 years or so until the market finally catches on. Or ride the M wave. Either way you will have a fine car!

The Windsor one is quite the find. I think it is slightle overpriced. I often peruse autotrader to feed my «*one day I will have a coupe again Fantasy. A silver one with 80km went for about 19k in the spring, I sold my silver si manual in the spring of 2013 with 55k for 25k. I think 21 to 22k is a reasonable price for a low mileage coupe in the cdn market.
Best of luck with finding one. |

Thanks folks for all the suggestion and replies... I am very close to a deal .. and hopefully I can secure one soon.
All I plan to do is suspension, rims and a exhaust (if possible). Any suggestion for good BMW/Z4 shops which you guys frequent around the Toronto area? |
