Transport Mode
So my car came out of storage in Transport mode - no fan, no A/C.
I understand the dealer, or a shop w/ the right equipment, has to turn it off. WHY IS THIS A THING!!?? |

I can understand why it’s there - to prevent the car from being abused by unscrupulous shippers before delivery to the final owner.
But why it can’t be easily undone by the final owner is something that can only be answered by the engineering wunderkind guy who put the roadster power top motor in the roof drain channel. |

If the battery floats to a certain low voltage for a period of time it is known to go into transport mode for some reason. I had this issue and misdiagnosed it to be a bad ac fan and turned out all it needed was a coding from the mechanic. Perhaps ncs can code this |
