Sound/Video Request: Headers + Euro Section 1 + SS Powerloops

Anyone here running catless headers + catted section 1 (modified NA, Euro, DKF, SGT, etc) + SS Powerloops?

Originally was planning on selling the Powerloops thinking it'd result in drone when combined with headers but realized it might not be that bad since it's essentially the equivalent of a factory Euro setup + mufflers only.

The setup is euro header + mod US section one and
it's not drony to me.

Powerloop

Stromung

Same car, same road and same setup.

Hope this helps.

Thanks man very helpful. Sounds really good though hard to tell if it drones since you’d need to hear from inside. I do think the convertible soft top is more sensitive to drone than a coupe too. Wonder if the oe hard top would do a better job of sound insulation...

If you are pretty set on uncatted header, get installed with the powerloop. If it's too drony for you, then sell it. It's hard to buy a Powerloop unless going new.

I think soft top might be more sensitive to outside drone becuase of insulation but coupe has in cabin drone/frequency reported by a few. So you're right, hardtop is the best bet...

I have OEM CSL (euro) headers, Euro Section 1 and Stromung Mufflers on my car - PM for a sound clip.

Added the headers certainly produced more volume and a small amount of drone at highway speeds under heavy load - i.e. up hill. It is nowhere near as bad as the drone when I had the RPI exhaust (no other mods).
