E85 Z4 airbag light code 9485

My 03 Z4 seems to activate the airbag warning light after a hard bump or other randomness and reports error 9485 "clamp r signal inconsistent". I think it's a wiring issue. It would not surprise me if some wires in the driver's side loom have fatigued for instance.
"Klemme R signal inkonsistent" is the German INPA description.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks!

Remove and clean battery clamps.... going on "senior memory" here but believe "clamp r" is battery connection/power issue.

Airbag light will illuminate to indicate increased resistance/low voltage on SRS power connection... which is directly connected to positive battery clamp. Which seems consistent with your issue.

My 2 cents....
