SOLD! for sale 2007 bmw z4m coupe track built. title in hand. around 56000 miles no ac / heater pictures in this LINK: https://photos.app.goo.gl/JTKyVnYc87kZEEW19 I am sure many people know or have seen my car. not sure if I am doing the right thing....thinking about selling my car since I barely go tracking now. Got a beautiful son and I am a person that do not like to have cars in the garage like a museum. Purchased this car 4 years ago with about 30k miles from my really close friend who bought it brand new. Car has 56k miles right now. It was the first interlagos blue with varis splitter / wing, that you can find in some magazines. Since the car was never driven after a while, the car was sold to me. Since my ownership, I decided to use it mainly for track days. did a lot of testing to find the proper spring rates, tire sizes, brake pads, aero, etc. Had huge amount of fun in the first 2.5 to 3 years. I tell everyone the z4m is the most exciting and challenging BMW. I drove many e46 m3, e36 m3, e92 m3 (previous owned), and z4m is by far the best. Love the fact that the z4m is the hardest car to drive fast. for me, no BMW is as nimble as the z4m. Also for some mysterious reason, my car pulls away from every e46 m3. (custom tune from EPIC) the car is not in SHOW CAR condition. Its a track car, but it still in good condition. I did a ton of maintenance to this car to always keep me alive at the track. Never hesitate to change a part just as precaution. Car was NEVER INTO ACCIDENT. This car did at buttonwillow 1:47.8 on pirelli scrubs. laguna laptime is 1:36.8 Willow Springs 1:27 This car is SUPER FAST, HANDLES AMAZINGLY and SUPER CAPABLE of doing amazing laptimes. RAVENOL 10W60 oil and filter changed done every 3 track days or 1000 miles. inspection 2 done every year. diff, tranny, valve adjustment, spark plugs. some works done by KAIV, who is known in the m3forum community. TITLE IN HAND. car weight: 2800lbs. Mods: SUSPENSION (all in great condition. did a full suspension inspection 2 months ago at CHEWERKS who only works with suspension stuff and told me nothing had to be changed. Some stuff are newer than others. buyer can ask me. JRZ RS PRO GC race camber plates Hyperco springs 700/650 lbs both 5" without helper spring GC endlinks GC rear camber arms GC rear shock mounts Hotchkis sway bar in the front and rear Millway FCAB Turner RTAB turner strut bar AKG diff and subframe solid bushings AKG engine and trans mounts poly 75D TURNER inner rear control arm bushing BRAKES PFC BBK front and rear. ENDLESS front pads and PFC08 rear pads. WHEELS Titan7 18x10.5 TR10 Apex SM10 18x10 Tires: Federal RSRR 265/35/18 INTERIOR CAE shifter with OEM DSSR (one of my best mods) Stack gauges Braille battery 13lbs. bride halo seats (driver side only) OMP steering wheel driver and passenger side lexan rear lexan not installed yet. import from england. NO AC / NO HEATER / NO SPEAKERS / NO AIRBAGS custom made chassi roll bar done by Mike Cox whos known to be one of the best welder in CA. POWER MODS EPIC custom tune with more than 30 pulls on dyno. Supersprint race headers - SS section 1, 2 with custom muffler to clear custom diffuser. AFE dry intake. Bimmerworld thermostat and bypass valve (greatly reduced my oil temps) CSF Radiator topped with distilled water + water wetter OEM Diff Clutchmaster lightweight flywheel clutchmaster clutch. AERO / COSMECTIC Trackspec motorsport hood vents (helps with understeer and temps) Trackspec front splitter and side skirt extension made in Tegris. got another spare splitter in black color. Custom diffuser based on fancywide diffuser CF roof from Geoff steel. from group buy Aeromotions active wing with custom uprights. this cost me an arm and a leg due to the word "CUSTOM" to get this to work, took me a lot of research and time. APR wing's gourney flap and endplate. 70% of the bottom of the car is covered. Didnt have a chance to work in the middle section once I became a dad. Front fenders hand cut by a famous time attack builder Ken Tsui. Rear bumper also hand cut to release the air from the fenders. I am sure I am forgetting some stuff, but thats about it. the car doesnt require any maintenance so far. I get oil analysis every oil change, and the engine is solid. you can ask anyone in CA about my car and know that the car is reliable and maintained. I just wish I took care more to keep the car cleaner. there are a TON of OEM parts that were replaced new along these years that I will happy to list them. I will also be willing to remove some parts if buyer wants to lower the price.

Keep it. Pass it to your son. By the time he knows how to drive there will be no gas engine and no manual transmission.. I felt the same when I had my 1st kid. My wife convinced me to keep a raw car in the family since they will be shuttles by cars that drive themselves and with monthly subscription. it'll be a legacy to pass something like this down..

Wanna sell me the hatch? Still got the shipping box right?
On the other hand, wow what an amazing car!! I've seen this one personally on one of my layovers in LA. Very sorted and amazing build up. Most of the build documented on here and a trophy and medal list that just goes on and on. Some of that might be Alex's quick hands, but man what a track car. Amazing work, amazing handling and just an amazing car with lots and lots of R&D into it. If this was in my area I'd s snap it up just for the shear street cred. Trying to get Alex to hang onto it, amazing car this, and it's fast. Amazing car for an amazing bloke. Alex is one of those guys who strives for perfection, and you can see it everywhere in his build. Aside from the gay job he has during the day (does he make vibrators?), this guy knows his stuff and he knows this Z4M. I couldn't recommend a car or owner more. If this does go up for sale, (hoping it doesn't) grab it while you can as there isn't another better sorted track car around, with no expense spared on maintenance and preventative maintenance. Top bloke and awesome car!!! . Love your work man, please don't sell.

Wow so sad to see you selling your amazing track car. This will be a steal for anyone looking for a turnkey setup that has been EXTENSIVELY developed. Looks like it only needs the cage finished to go racing, too.
Congratulations on your growing family and GLWS!

Simply the most intensive R&D build ever for a track spec Z4M. Active aero! Tons of experimentation and time put into this build.
I hope Alex keeps it for awhile and reconsiders —I've had cars I regret selling to this day—but if not someone could end up with a turnkey car and spend time tracking not fiddling with trial and error. |

I had the privilege to drive this car on the track and sold my E92 immediately right after to become a Z owner. Did not want to mess this thread around but my lap time was 1:46:990, so there is an untrue statement here.
Jokes apart, it's sad to see this legend moving away from the group but totally understand the "family business" stage of our lives. |

Absolutely love this car, am too far into my own build to stop now =)
The cut outs you put into the fender - I was wondering about doing that on the hood of my Z4M Roadster to release heat - but it would need to be done really well. How were those cuts made? |
