2003 z4: transmission issue

When I down shift into 1st or 2nd gear and start to decelerate the car feels like the breaks are being applied lightly even without pressing the breaks. It gives me a slight jerk as well when I down shift and let it decelerate on its own. I’ve taken it to the shop they said it was fine after replacing my clutch but the problem still there. There’s definitely something off with it though hoping someone might have some insight.
