Never knew these existed! Cupholders!!

Hi guys,

Maybe this is just news to me, but, I was just finding my way through the Japanese Parts Auction and I stumbled upon these! Cupholders for the E85/E86. These are made by Alcabo. Replaces the stock ashtray. I never use the ashtray so this might be an option as I hate the vent ashtrays (hot coffee all over my lap while driving). Though they aren't the prettiest, maybe wrapping them or powdercoating them in black or grey might look cool.

What do you guys think?

Have you seen these before?

See them now.
Pretty cool idea, has potential, but I would need to see them installed with a travel mug inserted.
How much do they want for them?
It's close to $300, isn't it.

The buy it now price on the auction was about $70CAD I believe. Looks well designed and since it replaces the ash tray it should be pretty snug. Though, I don't know what size drinks it can hold. I appreciate the adjustability of the vent cup holders where it can hold skinny energy drinks.

Either way, I thought it was cool and I've never seen them before. Going to see if I can find them elsewhere

Either way, those are very cool. I've just never seen the ashtray one I've posted.

Works well having it in the passenger footwell, unless there's a passenger.

If your feet are near an ultimate cup holder you’re doing it wrong. I put mine just ahead of the forward edge of the seat. My hand finds it easily. My feet, not so much.

Wow, I didn't know about these either! Did you find them on Rakuten? I'm seeing the prices range from $68-107USD depending on the variant.

The brand appears to be Al Cabo, or ALCABO

Black cups, chrome rings:

(don't know wtf is up with this shift knob, and don't think it's in a Z, but gives you an idea)

And lastly, without the chrome rings:
