If you're OK with it being a permanent(ish) mod, buy the Betalink glue from the dealership and use that instead of the tape. Actually, you can definitely remove it if you use the glue because it's being stuck to all metal parts. All you'd need is some dental floss and a heat gun. It's only when you attach it to some rubber (ie with a roof spoiler) that removal becomes almost impossible without damaging that upper rear window lining...

Looks good. Not really sure how it's so different from the OEM part though functionally and cosmetically...

I am a little confused. Why go through the R&D to make a product that already exists? Or did tekarbon mold directly off the BMW spoiler? If so...why bother, rather than making a unique product? What am I missing here?

Last time i checked with BMW they stopped making this spoiler and its been pretty popular with the MC crowd i think. Also i think their price is much cheaper than the OEM one.

-FYI, that diffuser isn't really a functional diffuser (any more than stock, that is), and it blocks airflow from cooling the diff. To each his own.

Here's the OEM CF spoiler:
http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462

It's $305 so this Tekarbon one is a cool $100 savings. Only down side is that when it comes time to resell, you'll have to use the word "replica" and not OEM...

For whatever is worth, OEM doesn't mean quality. My local dealer had to order the OEM trunk CF spoiler for me 3 times because the previous 2 had pretty bad ripples under the clear-coat. How they passed the quality control I have no idea.
