Received mine - looks great! Will be a bit before I get to installing it, so any "DIYs" that emerge will be helpful for the mechanically challanged twits like myself.

I'll let MOTK post pictures himself, but he has installed the kit now.

Update time! 2 Kits of ducts are done, however the laser cutter have deadlines to meet this week so my parts aren't prioritized. They would be done by next week, sorry about the delay but it's out of my hands. We will continue printing ducts though to keep up.

We've also made a switch from ASA plastic to PET-G plastic for the front bumper ducts. PET-G is a little pricier (won't affect the price though), a little shinier but with more stable characteristics. The reason for the change is the issues with warping with the ASA, the PET-G turned out great with no warping at all so we're sticking with it (pun intended).

Indeed finally Haven't had a lot of time recently.
After a couple of "brain fart" moments by both of us the install went quite smoothly. I found what I thought to be good routing option for the hose with just a small amount of cutting required to the lower corner plastic.
Hose length required is about 1.2m per side and the routing provided at least 5mm clearance on full lock with my 235/40 8.5j et 38.
I was unable to use the top to mounting holes of the funnel with my 355x32mm discs as the button head bolts fouled the disc, I am going to try some countersunk bolts to see if they provide enough clearance.
Word of warning, the bumper vents are slightly fragile so don't be an oaf like me and crack one I've taped it up and I think it should hold, I've a trackday at the nurburgring in a couple of weeks which should be a good test for them!

Wow! Thanks for the updates and pictures of installation. Hopefully you can include one after the bumper cover is installed, so we can get an idea of the look from outside?

Thanks Andre. Yeah sorry I didn't think to include one really as it looks pretty much stock if looking from it at any kind of normal angle. If you happen to have your head on the ground and look up you will see that it does not quite fit like the factory vent but personally that is not an issue for me.

I did a duct at first that fit just like stock, but the duct is curved in the front and this makes it difficult to print. Consider all the problems we've had with this duct, imagine if we would have stuck with the first design with the curved design.

So this design has a straight design so it has to be a little bigger to fit closely to the bumper, downside is as you said you can see it if you crawl on the ground and look up. But I felt it was the best way to go in the end.

MOTK made me aware that there's an OE block off cover for the wheel arches (From the 3.0 Z4) you can buy for cheap. However I will still include the block off plate if you want it. The OE one in plastic cost around 5-6$ each side.

Barry's second duct is soon done and I'll visit the laser cutters tomorrow after work. If my metal parts are done I will be sending 4 kits on thursday when I'm off work.

Sending Booker's and Sliktop's kits in 30 minutes. I wanted to try the epoxy resin on a scrap piece of the new PET-G material to avoid any trouble, so Barry's and Finnegan's kits will be done during the weekend.

Just as a small update, I ran the car for the first time in anger down my local tortuous road route, lots of fairly difficult tarmac/bumps etc. Kit performed great in that nothing fell off the backing plates do not rub at all on my 32mm wide disc on full lock and the hose routing works really well too, no rubbing there either upon inspection afterwards.
Nurburgring in a week which will be a good test and then I hope to get back to my local track before the year is out to do some 'scientific' analysis of disc temp reduction. Previously I had measured them at around 600c there which is on the hot side contributing no doubt to my premature disc failures I have suffered over the last few years.
Enjoy guys

Great to hear! Curious to hear how it will perform at the ring and a nice touch with the temperature readings, look forward to those!

Worked well, hit an indicated 170mph ish down the Döttinger Höhe straight and even my broken (by myself) lhs duct held up well.
With the amount of autumn leaves around the grills probably helped not having those go into the disc, fair few collected.
Some very minor rubbing noises were heard in various areas of the track, I've yet to investigate as I had to leave the car pretty quickly on my return to the uk. Nothing serious though, I ended up tie wrapping the hoses to the arb (swaybar), I expect on full droop/load is where this is occurring. That said it could be from the new A048 tyres I'm running and not the kit/hose at all.
I'm at a more technical track on monday (the ring is perhaps surprisingly not that hard on the brakes, even for an amateur like me over-using them) , just need to grab the temp paint for the discs off my mate for some readings.

FINALLY received my kit, through no fault of Westersund . US Postal service did its best to keep the kit at an office less than 10 miles from my house for 3 weeks, before finally somehow managing to get them to the correct local office for delivery. Parts look great! I'm stoked.
