A/C Compressor Tensioner Pulley
I recently have been getting a temporary squeaking on startup. Goes away in 10 seconds. Figured I'd change the A/C Compressor Tensioner pulley since I had changed the other two at 50,000 miles but had left the A/C one be.
Did what I thought was proper research to order the right pulley, but in the end neither pulleys I ordered were the right one (web sources said depending on the tensioner used could be one of two, yada yada yada). From my experience it seems that you can't just replace the pulley for the A/C compressor tensioner, you have to buy a brand new tensioner and the pulley comes with it. Not horrifically expensive at $50 but seems wasteful. Has anyone additional information? |

In europe you can get the loose pulley/bearing from multiple 3rd party suppliers for well under 10 bucks.
Its a 70mm pulley, 24,5 - 26mm wide with a 17mm bearinghole. https://www.pkwteile.de/caffaro/9306079
