Kinda forgot what Diff oil I used.. GL4/5 compatibility ?
I changed it a few times with redline 75w90 but can't remember if its GL4 or GL5. I dont have the bottles any more. Seems all the oil comes up on search is GL5, GL5 safe for the diff ? Non M 07

It 75W-90 API GL-5. Castrol SAF-XO, which is NLA. The replacement from Castrol is SYNTRAX Long Life 75W-90 you can use either type for limited slip or non-limited slip. The diff takes over 1 quart so you need 2 quarts to fully fill it.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
