Lower Control Arms and creaky steering
Hello everyone.
So A few days ago I replaced my front lower control arms on my 2005 Z4. They both need replacing badly as the bushings on both arms were completely worn out. After replacing the control arms and bushings I went out and drove the car the next day. I noticed that every time I turned the wheel I was getting a creaky noise. It sounds like an old pirate ship. Ive researched this topic, but I'm not getting a clear answer to this problem. Would replacing the control arms and bushings have caused this? is there a simple fix? |

It could be the bearings on the top of the struts that are shot. (Not simple fix).
My Z4M started to sound like pirates (Arrrr ) turning at very low speed soon after I switched to Eibach springs. The pirates left the ship after upgrading to coilovers and camber plates.
