I just bought a 3.64 differential! what else to replace while installing it?
Hello!
I just bought a 3.64 differential with 22k and it will be arriving next Wednesday ! I know I will need the differential fluid and the draining/filling plugs for it. is there anything else I need? I'm very excited about it Last edited by alfredoporro; 10-04-2013 at 02:40 PM.. |

I know it's not the M diff, but you may need similar parts? (crush sleeve, etc.) Check out the 3.91 thread, then maybe do some realoem see if you can find if any of the parts are shared, or what the equivalent would be.
Not a lot of help, but maybe it will get you in the right direction.

The minimum is replace output shaft seal. I had a diff swap before because shop did not replace new seal. Diff started leaking and I have to pay for labor to redo it. Not very happy with the shop.
