I have 4 carbon tips that I was going to use on my SuperSprint mufflers but they are just too big so they wont work without butchering them up.

Just curious, how would someone attach these to their existing tips?

I would cut small slots (2) and feed a hose clamp through.

The other option would be to drill a hole through both the carbon and exhaust and screw/bolt in.

Well the plan was to drill 3 mounting holes 3/4 towards the back of the tips. Put a bolt in and proportionally space out (centre) the carbon tip to the steel tip using either some nuts or washers and use a final nut inside the steel tip to hold it firmly in place. You could also just rivet in place instead of using a bold. The problem for me is that the supersprint tips are too close together and these carbon tips too large which means I'd need to slice the carbon tip in 2 spots to make this work like below. It's really too bad because these really look great.

Thanks for the drawings. Looks like my Eisenmann tips are very close together as well
