Does it give an error? Do you need to code out bulb diagnostic?

No error, no coding needed. IIRC, the only ones that give error codes from the headlight are 2-3 bulbs that are part of the yolk (yellow strip).

You just need to drill 1 tiny hole so you can get the nubs out.

I wouldn’t mind a set. Where did you get them?

Wheels are back from powder coating. I'm so happy with the way they turned out (Super Chrome Plus for the barrels, BMW Silver for the faces). New OEM center caps and stem valve covers. Car was also polished (3 step process) and ceramic coated while in the garage waiting for the wheels to be put back on.

Also got a set of Bumperplugs since I can't stand front license plates. She's now covered up in the garage until spring.

Don’t have CSL box but I did pick up a RE elbow myself that I plan to pair with an Eventuri intake. Just been lazy and waiting for temps to warm up a little to so the install.

Finally installed a mirror mount for my Uniden RD. I have to say this product is awesome. Tons of adjustability and very secure. And at $20 something it’s great value considering Blendmount goes for $100+

I can confirm this fits the E85/6, F10, F25 and F15 models. For the Z, the spacing is tight but the key is to position the rear view mirror to your liking first, and then secure/tighten the screws.

Pretty sure seller sells attachments for other brands like Escort and Valentine. But I was able to use this for both my Uniden R4 and R7.

Looks good and thanks for the link. Looking for something for my R5. How did you wire it? My Z4MR doesn't have the auto dimming mirror.

Chris

Bought one of those wire kits that has RJ on one end and power & ground on the other (with small fuse in between). And then simply plugged the power & ground directly into the mirror connector.

Even though you don’t have auto dimming, you should still check to see if you have the wire behind the plastic trim. Takes 2 seconds to check and there’s good chance the car was pre-wired for it. Else I would just run it across headliner and go directly to fuse box.

There’s dozens of threads on Bimmerpost but something like this.

FWIW I may actually have a spare wire kit. Happy to send to you if you cover shipping.

Thanks for the reply and tip to check for power. Very kind offer on the wire. I'll send you a PM. Chris

New starter for my Z4M. It went out last week after solenoid stuck in the engaged position. With motor running it smoked the starter coils. Never had one fail this way before.
