Need Suggestions

Hello all, (Sorry for a long Post)

I own a 2006 3.0si with M/Sports Suspension Pkg. @ 85k miles. It's loosing its feel and smoothness it once had, A few times lately it has been trailing with the marks on the road.

Another Important detail is that the roads here are not the smoothest either. I lived in Florida for 12years prior to coming to Puerto Rico. I wish I had the Z there.

Over here most main roads are made out of concrete and the finish is not even, specially where the slabs meet, at some spots it feels like there is a 1/2" to 3/4" drop or rise in between slabs. So it feels like I am riding a horse when traveling on these roads. The heavy Trucks have torn up most right lanes across the island. (enough ranting) you get the point.

There are also smooth roads and Twistys! but my mostly traveled are rough.

I am a member of the BMWCCA PR Chapter and we go out on cruises and Rally's Monthly. So I'd like to get some comfort back on my Z.

I have read posts on Bilstein's (B6) and It seems that this is the preferred strut to replace the OEM's with. I have also read post where people have found it to be too harsh. What are your thoughts?

I Drive the Z at least 3 days of the week to work. Sometimes everyday.
I am not looking to Track it, although we've been talking about doing a Solo Run at the Local Circuit, I've gone down the 1/4mi. 6 times this year and have dynoed 3 times.

I have the Koni's with Eibach springs on my 3.0si with M sport suspension. I am pretty happy with the feel. With the Koni's you can adjust the stiffness which is nice. I cannot comment on the others though.

I have bilsteins with h&r lowering springs, it's definitely a firm ride, I've been driving lowered cars all my life and have gotten used to the roughness of the ride, but if it's comfortability your looking for, if you stick with the stock springs you should be good. Besides that, bilsteins have a lifetime warranty I believe.

I have a 3.0si with the M sport suspension. The car was not lowered in that pic. The Koni's have a lifetime warranty as well.

Well, I went with the B4's I do not regret it. It raised the car back to how it was stock. I now have a comfortable ride and Thanks to Tire Rack I did not break the Bank.

Thanks to all for your input, I would love to try the Yellow's if I ever build a "track oriented" car.
