Dyno Run

Just a dyno of my stock M, was done a dyno that reads pretty low.
Im not really worried about the numbers since i use this dyno for all my past mods and ill continue to use this shop so all future improvements can be easily compared to my base run.

Also have a comparison with my old Celica with a Rotrex S/C set up. Celica should rev up to 8500rpm but on the last tune we did after new mods, we ran out of fuel and stopped at 7800rpm. I never had a chance to install new injectors and do a proper tune before i sold the celica.

Now i just need some money to improve the top end and ill be pretty happy

So far im undecided if should go the NA route or save up big for the s/c set up.

My first mod will probably be the ESS NA tune/software. Wont be till after the new year i start anything, crazy time with xmas and NYE coming up.

That seems to be a very low reading for our cars thought it would be around 270 at wheel.

Dyno numbers vary from dyno to dyno so the numbers are only really relative to see improvements from mods ect.
But this dyno does read extremely low like 25% lower compared to other dynoes around here. Doesnt bother me.

Which was the purpose Dyno's were designed in the first place.

They are a useful tuning tool.

Today since they started to get cheaper and more portable and appearing in more and more workshops and also started turning up at car shows, people are turning into nothing more than 'Dyno Dick-Heads'.
