'06 Z4MR with SBM 475 Paint

Looking for recommendations on having the hood and trunk resprayed... lots of type 2 etching on the paint from previous owner (probably acid rain). I get that it's going to be more expensive becaue of the meteallic flake and blending.

I got a quote for $3k from a body shop in Richmond, Virginia when I first bought the car, but it doesn't bother me enough to spend that kind of money fixing it (I'd rather spend that on driving school!).

Ideally, I'd love to find someone who resprays off lease cars for BMW and does side work, but may just have to bite the bullet and take it to a BMW recommended body shop at some point.
