Carbon Fiber Widebody Roadster

A shop up in Vancouver, B.C. did up a Roadster before taking it down to LA to Slek Designs for the body panel replacements and then driving it to Vegas for SEMA. They have a video they just posted on Youtube.

Information taken from their reddit post during SEMA:
We threw on an amazing big brake kit from Sparta Evolution, 6/4pot setup with their unique S-groove design and followed that up with retrofitting an E46 M3 coilover kit from Status Gruppe.

The body panels were all done by Slek Designs down in Long Beach and the wheels came from RSV Forged (temporarily mismatched set, will be fixed before the show opens. Had to borrow another set of wheels for the rear) and we got some spiffy Nitto Invos from Nitto to throw on. (Edit: Wheel and tire specs are 19x14 on 345/30/R19s in the rear, 19x10.5 on 275/35/R19s in the front)

Saw this at SEMA! It looked pretty wild, was happy to finally see a Slek roadster, not just the coupe.

It was higher than I would have liked but I think it was the style they were after. Props regardless!

I guess it's cool as a show-car but with those huge wheels and tires I bet it's much slower than a stock one. Needs a badass supercharger kit on it!

Meh. I do appreciate the work and attention this car received, but it looks like a ton of money and parts were thrown at it without anything jelling. Nothing on the car goes together for me, looks like a Frankenmobile.

One thing comes to mind when I see that car: Part-out.
