For me at least the coupe is like a kids cellphone plan, mostly used evening and weekends. I was thinking on going to the End of the season meet at BMW mississauga tomorrow http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1043765 maybe we can use this meet to get a few coupes together.

My wife and I took a cruise down to Elora labour day, it was a very nice day. We actually went back the following week to pick something up we saw the week before, and when walking down the main street I saw a silver Z4MC. I was dumbfounded as this was truly rare to see another coupe. I knew I've seen this coupe before but couldn't put my finger on it. 5 mins later I get text from Mirko "you ziplining at the gorge".

Not sure, but some sort of old factory. Next time I'm there I'll make sure to read the plaque. There's an old mill across the river that was an inn at one point but is now is closed. My wife remembers eating at the restaurant when she was a child. It's a really nice place to spend an afternoon, bunch of shops, restaurants, walking trails in the gorge and if your up for it zip lining across the gorge.

I lived in Salem just up the road from Elora for a number of years and know the area well but not the history unfortunately.
I do know there was a grist mill , saw mill and flour mill in the past the "olde mill" which was once the restaurant was the flour mill.

A beautiful area and the gorge is a place to visit if anyone is ever in the area.

Google says,

The Elora Mill is Ontario's only remaining five-story mill and has been renovated as a prestigious inn and restaurant.

http://www.elora-fergusrealestate.co...velopment.html

Change is on the way for an Elora landmark that has sat vacant for more than three years.
For decades, the Elora Mill was a powerful and prominent grist mill.
More recently it housed the Elora Mill Inn – a popular restaurant, banquet hall and venue for weddings.
PHOTOS
Elora Mill
The Elora Mill property is seen on Friday, March 14, 2014.
But its last incarnation is nothing compared to what’s in store for the mill when it reopens under new ownership, officials say.
“That whole development is going to be such a gain for us,” Centre Wellington Township Mayor Joanne Ross-Zuj tells CTV News.
In late 2010, the mill was purchased by The Landmark Group – a developer responsible for similar projects at old mill sites in Cambridge, Ancaster and elsewhere.
After years of planning, renovations are expected to begin this spring.
And it’s not just the mill in Landmark’s sights.
An old industrial brownfield on the opposite side of the river is also part of the project. Landmark plans to turn that site into a complex featuring a conference centre, wedding chapel, hotel and other amenities.
“They talk about bringing people here for weddings and receptions and things of that sort – it’s a beautiful, beautiful setting for that,” says Ross-Zuj.
A covered bridge will be built to connect the two sites.
In total, the project is expected to create about 250 jobs. Officials hope there will also be spin-off benefits as the setting draws weddings and other events to the village.
“They don’t come and just hole up in their hotel room,” says Fred Gordon, administrator of the Elora BIA.
“They shop in the town, they go in our restaurants. They’re contributing to our economy. Everyone wins.”
Also present in the old toy factory on the other side of the Grand will be condos – but not big towers.
Although site plan applications haven’t been filed, it’s believed the condos will only be three or four storeys high.
The first portion of the project is expected to open in 2015.
