Nice to meet everyone. Please find some pics that almost turned out from the back of the pack.
And just how many types of tires attended?

Any interest in doing a meet/drive just north of LA? I know a ton of amazing roads that are a little farther away but are more fun and have less traffic (and enforcement) than the Malibu area. The loop I have in mind is ~200 mi starting around Santa Clarita, ending at a great lunch spot in Ojai.
Perhaps 4/17 or 4/23?

Actually, the Santa Clarita - Ojai "fun segment" is more like 130 miles, so 200 is including the to/from freeway segments, starting from LA.
The whole event shouldn't consume more than 5 hours, including stopping a couple times for pics and lunch at the end. That depends on where you're coming from, of course.

I would probably be up for the 23/24 weekend (nothing on the calendar yet); am heading down to SD for the 17th.

You know what you (or us) guys (or gals) need to do?
I can potentially convince the L.A. Chapter board of BMW CCA to sanction a "parade lap" for Z cars owners only on June 10th (yeah, sorry, it's a Friday) on California Speedway. It'll likely be a 15-20 minute session where y'all get to drive the track at safe, street speeds at the end of the day, like 4:45-5:00pm. I'll need a pretty big commitment though, like 20+ people. I can probably see if we can do it for free too, or do it for like $20 and the money will be reimbursed for a future autocross or something. If you've never been to California Speedway, the banked oval is pretty impressive.

With LABMWCCA, Parade lap would be even better.

I have the organizer's approval to do this!
We will need at least 10 cars, otherwise it won't be worth the chapter nor the track's time to let a couple of cars out on a parade lap. It will be a nice way to kick off a good weekend. $15 PER CAR, so if you want to bring a friend with you to experience it, it's still only $15. It'll be at the end of the day, roughly around 4:45pm ish, and there'll be a photo op during the last lap to stop at the start/finish and line-up for a photo-shoot. In the mean time if you show up any time before 4:45pm you can borrow a helmet and get an instructor ride on the track at speed (if you haven't done so, it's an eye opening experience). Those of you already attending the school (either as a paid participant, or instructing like myself) can join in but will not count against the head-count requirement (i.e. if I join you guys, you'll still need 10 cars plus me since I'll likely be instructing that day). It'll be a great excuse to take a day off. Taking names below: June 10th PARADE lap at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana with BMW CCA L.A. Chapter: 1. Incompatible 2. imz4n 3. rclem05 4. Dark Schnitzer 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.

From Santa Monica you'd pretty much have to leave by 10:00am to make it in time for the parade lap.
