I have a 4 day weekend, I'm In fri-mon this weekend or next weekend for Sunday.

The weekend of the 26-27th would probably be best.

If it rains this fri/sat, the roads will probably not be in the best condition on sunday.

Looks like its going to be Sunday because of the weather. Does Angeles Crest work for everyone?

This is going to be sick! I'm glad there is so much interest!

EDIT: Also, does next Sunday work if the weather changes for the worse?

Angeles Crest is closed....unless you guys want to go around and do upper big tujunga. Malibu is the safe bet though.

I think that there already is a Z trip planned for the 27th, starting at Supercar Sunday and doing the Fraser Park to Ojai run.

^^ Yea, looks like we should do Malibu haha.. If everyone is ok with it, we could do a similar drive to the one that my friend led. Its a lot of driving, but it hits most of the good roads

Nice, but my favorite roads in the area are a little west of kanan. Oh and it's probably a little paranoid on my part, but I think it's best not to post routes as some law enforcement watch these type of threads from time to time.

This sunday, I'll probably snowboarding, but I'm in if you guys end up doing the 27th.

I'm curious which ones you mean. I live out there and it seems that most of the roads west of Kanan are just tight enough (Westlake, Decker) or sometimes just rough enough (Little Sycamore) to not be as much fun as, say, Piuma or Mulholland just east of Kanan.

The ones you mentioned plus latigo. I prefer them as I tend to fine them less patrolled. I guess I prefer tighter roads in general as you can have fun at lower speeds. High speed sweepers are fun too, but I tend to worry about tickets on those roads which takes away from the fun.

Looks like a great route! FYI I will be driving spirited, but not in any range of getting a ticket. If everyone prefers to have a little more fun I can lag behind because I've already been handcuffed and put on a curb last year and more recently, thrown in the back of a cop car and yelled at while being told my car would be impounded. I've been fairly lucky so far and don't want to chance ruining that.

I just got two 65 in 35s in a month

Needless to say, I can't afford another ticket either.

This is meant to be a cruise. We can break it up into a fast group and a slow group if there is a demand, but when I went last time, everyone was able to keep a somewhat brisk pace, and open it up when we got into more secluded parts of the run.

So what time would everyone like to meet? would 11AM work? Who would be interested in getting lunch while they are in the area as well? I am thinking either Islands (before or after the drive, located at the meeting point) or Dukes (a little detour down to PCH during the run).

Also, the route is not set in stone. There is tons of room for suggestion, as this route consists of just roads I know personally!
