That's why things got cleaned up.

I do get it where youre coming from - you log in, check some news, and -- people go on about the grilles on every thread with that pignose car. Well, I agree, it can be annoying, but Im laying the fault with BMW more who produced a car that elicits this much bad response. It is becoming a Trump of car design, that all journalists and people love to rip on daily, and that does get tiring, as some do it just to make content and sell their stuff. But it is BMWs fault.

Don't even mention their social media manager who says "OK boomer" and posts "im not impressed with your loud engine" picture. Completely confused brand. M-cars and loud noises and then electric car mocking buyers of traditional cars.

Black is best as the grill tends to fade into the entire blackness of the front end.

Not with that weird pattern inside the grills, will stick out even more because of it, just like the chrome kidney's on the G22 4er.

Floating roof design in general, maybe...we could even go back to the 2002 Mini Cooper with a deviated roof color.

I guess I was mainly referring to the rear-most pillar (C or D, depending on what car we're talking about) flowing down towards the quarterpanel, but still having a break in there. The i3 and iX have it, but you also see a similar style in Nissans. That's what I was specifically referencing.

Rimac/VW/Porsche have stolen a march on BMW in electric tech, and I suspect their diesel gate scandal will end up helping them more than we know in few years. Bring it on!
In what way is BMW not quite there with technology and what does that have to do with them being a private company?

How have Rimac/VW/Porsche "stolen a march on BMW in electric tech?"

I'm genuinely curious, not being a jerk.

From the front it looks like a Land Rover Évoque that got hit head on by a G22.
Doesn't look all too bad, but not my thing really.

Strange color to showcase. The proportions look strange in some angles. Hopefully the tech is solid cause looks won't sell it

Yes, it does present a more chunky MPV/minivan look than say a rugged and upright SUV like the X5 in my opinion.

I had so much hopes for this to be a true SUV. So difficult to get behind the mini-van MPV look.
