Question Monterey, CA mechanic recommendations?

Recommendations for Z4 mechanic in Monterey, CA area?

I had gone to the local dealer for service and was sort of shocked at some of the prices quoted. I'd like to find a good BMW Z4 knowledgeable mechanic who charges reasonable fees in this area.

Thanks,

Do you ever make it up to the San Jose or Milpitas area? There are quite few reputable specialists in the area with good pricing.

Thanks, Dol, no, I don't go up that way often. I was hoping to hook up with someone local who knows a good local mechanic for the Z

You can give Monterey Bay Motor Works a shot - they are behind the BMW dealership on The Mall, backing up onto Del Monte. I've only had occasion to go there once when my E36 developed a misfire when I was in town but they resolved it quickly and gave me a good feeling about them.
