LeatherZ

Anybody have any pictures of LeatherZ interior mods or custom interior mods? Looking to add more luxury. Looking forward to some pics!

Added the LeatherZ center armrest for comfort and storage. I like very much on both counts.

I had their Alcantara shift boot on my car for a while. It looked and felt great, and the M stitching matched the M steering wheel perfectly.

LeatherZ console and armrests on the doors. I bought black and dyed them cinnamon to match what I did to the seats/doors/dash.

The leatherz console provides some much needed interior storage space and (for me anyway) is at a great height for resting my forearm on. I wish the base fit the contour of the console better and was mounted a bit more securely (mine pops up when I raise the parking brake too high).

The leatherz door armrests are - kinda eh. They feel good but seem a touch too high - and I think I've got a permanent dent where my left elbow rests.

That is beautiful interior. Very warm color and good contrast to the black.

Thanks - not done yet. The interior was beige from the factory (carpet, extended leather on the doors, all the interior panels, A/B pillar covers, leather sunvisors and headliner) and I'm still in process of converting it all to black. At some point this summer I want to recover the A/B pillar covers and headliner with black alcantara.

I also want to restrip all the interior plastic panels and use a better automotive grade of black paint. The panels might look ok in that photo but the krappy krylon I used seems to scratch pretty easy.

But yeah - black/cinnamon looks (to my eyes) about 1000% better than solid beige and aluminum everything.

Absolutely beautiful combo you have there. Love it.
If you are getting rid of ANY extended leather pieces I would be more than happy to buy them off of you and give you mine for your custom Alcantara work. Can't wait to see the final product. Looks great so far!

Thanks. My understanding is the 3.0si coupe only got extended leather on the door panels and the sunvisors. I think (not certain) that the M coupes with extended also got the leather on the console and the M roadies also added leather on the A-pillars. Also not sure if there were model year changes to the extended leather option. My pillar covers are beige fabric so not much help for you there.

But I'll keep you in mind if I want to do something with my beige leather sunvisors.

LeatherZ boot w/ M stitching, and illuminated ZHP knob, which I assume came from LeatherZ at the same time as the boot. Previous owner installed both. Nice stuff to inherit. I had the alcantara boot as shown above on my first Z4MC - love that one too.

LeatherZ door pulls. They're pretty nice and just snap right in like stock. Apologies for the lighting, been having to do my best work at night with the garage door shut.

Very nice! I think you've sold me on those door pulls...

It really is an easy, relatively inexpensive mod that makes a noticeable improvement in modernizing the cabin.
