Always makes me nervous as f**k to get an email from BlackStone Labs...

So far, so good. Especially when I switched over to Liqui Moly 10W-60, since the MZ4 Coupe has had NOTHING but Castro TWS 10W-60 for the last 13 years.

Knock on wood. At 53,000 miles it's getting to nervous time, although the engine has always run strong with nary an issue.

But I am happy to report that the Liqui Moly works well and my engine seems to like it, and it saves me about 1/2 the price for each oil change. Also this is on a 2 year drain interval, as the car BARELY gets driven now since I work from home.

I think between the Vette and the MZ4 Coupe I drove a total of 5,000 miles last year, and most of that was from going to and from Laguna Seca and various other tracks in the neighborhood.

Nice results. I recently let my indy shop do an oil change, and they use good ole Castrol, but also soaked me for $25 for an OEM oil filter - uh, no. I have 6 liters of LiquiMoly ready to go for the next change, with an $8 Mann (OEM equivalent) filter. I used LM in my first coupe and have zero qualms about it, and the cost savings over TWS is huge.

Awesome report!
Great numbers....your mileage is LOW....great side-benefit to working from home; I re-purposed (AKA retired) 2+ yrs ago and drove 1,208 miles between annual oil changes....the Red Roadster is a fair weather car now (it rains on occasion in the Seattle area) and fire it up and go for an early morning top-down drive (no matter the temperature) weekly....my Blackstone report(s) have been great to-date.

Nice! I just changed over to Liqui Moly 10W60 as well after using Castrol 10W60 since 2007. Not for cost though. Mike Miller (Roundel Tech Talk) convinced me to. He is not a fan of the Castrol in terms of its viscosity. He recommended Liqui Moly or Red Line. It will be a while before my UOA, but yours is reassuring to me!
