UPDATE: You helped me raise $1109 for Starlight Children's annual Drive4Smiles

Dear Friends,

I'm proud to announce that I will be participating in the Starlight Children's Foundation Canada's annual Drive 4 Smiles event taking place on Sunday, September 8th, 2019 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (Mosport) in Bowmanville.

I have always thought of getting involved in something like this but didn't know it even existed until this week when Lucas Scarfone, publisher of Autostrada Magazine posted on Instagram asking for more drivers. They had over 500 children and their families registered for the day and needed an additional 25 drivers with their vehicles to be able to accommodate all the participants so I knew I had to jump in.

Starlight is dedicated to improving the quality of life of seriously ill children and their lives through an impressive array of in-hospital and outpatient programs.

Drive 4 Smiles is an automotive event where owners of unique cars gather at a race track and take Starlight children and their families for multiple dream rides throughout the day. Watch this video to learn more. This year I will have the privilege to take some deserving children on the track for a safe yet exhilarating ride and get some Smiles in return.

I have personally committed to raising a minimum of $500 for this charity, however, I'm reaching out to you to ask for your support in raising as much money as possible for these amazing kids. I would love to raise $1000 just from the Z4 community alone, so if you would like to help me raise even more money for Starlight and the amazing programming they do, please go to MY FUNDRAISING PAGE HERE. CryoEng Thanks for the bump and thank you so much for your donation. I'm happy to say that I've reached and surpast my $1k goal but more importantly Starlight Canada has reached their goal of raising $75,000 which is truly awesome. It's really amazing to experience the power of social media firsthand. Just two weeks ago I learnt of Starlight Canada and that they had 500 co-pilots registered for this event but were short 25 drivers to make it managable. Yesterday I received an email that there were too many drivers and we'd be rotating track time so not only will the kids experience a wider range of cars but more money has been raised because of this. I really appreciate all your support, it's very humbling to see that people that I've never met are willing to open their wallets and help me support this cause! Thank you so much!

I just want to give a big THANK YOU to all that sponsored me for the Drive 4 Smiles charity event that took place this past Sunday. With all your help I surpassed my personal goal and raised a total of $1109, all drivers combined raised over $80,000 which is just amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better day, the weather was great, 450 kids and family member were eager to hop into 78 different exotic cars and rip around the track. Honestly it was a fantastic time and I really don’t know who had more fun, me or my co-pilots! I made a short little video from one of the more enthusiastic co-pilots so hope you enjoy!
