"normal" pad wear?
I know there are as many answers to this as there are drivers, but... what is normal pad wear at the track? I'm running Pagid Sport S pads and seeing about 2-2.5 mm of wear per track day (front). That comes out to about 4 days per set and at $165/set it's adding up. I've read that others here get substantially more from their pads. Any advice?
Does anyone else have experience with Pagid Sport S's? Would I get better wear with dedicated track pads? Is it my technique, or lack there of? Last weekend at Thunderhill I was running my best times ever, and getting the most wear ever. (2:15's on Hankook RS3's--yes, Finnegan, you were absolutely right.) Thanks for any suggestions. |

Spec e30 and my e30 m3 replace the track pads every season, 10 weekends (3hours driving) and rotors roughly twice a year.
You need better pads for your needs. |
