Better wheel pics - opinions on fronts?

Just to reiterate specs - fronts are 18x9 et38 w/ 255/40 tire
RAC Monolites RG63

The fronts are my main concern. The damned perfectionist that I am, I'm thinking the fronts are set out about 5-8 mm too far, but honestly I'm undecided at this point. Any and all opinions are appreciated. If you've read my other thread in Wheels&Tires, I do have a rubbing issue up front and I was hoping to put Dinan springs on that I sourced used. Not married to these wheels so, as much as I'd hate to let them go, the grass may be greener.....from the very beginning, I knew I was putting a boutique wheel specially designed for the E46 M3 on a Z4M and I was always worried fitment wouldn't be a perfect as I wanted it.

See what you think guys and gals - really, I'm all ears for comments or suggestions. Thanks!

Get some suspension and some camber plates for up front.. Dial in a little neg camber and that will be what all of us call "HELLAFLUSH"

Keep those wheels man, I think you'll be very happy with the look after a drop...

stock, they do stick out 5mm too far. If you're gonna lower her either way, do it, and then make the decision to keep or sell

imho front tires look a little too "fat"- which is probably the source of your problem. a 245/40 or 255/35 will alleviate the problem.

offsets are good, and i have seen 19x9 35 on the car before with no rubbing issues. also seen as low as 19x9+22 with 255/30's on a local z4m as well.

Thanks man - appreciate the encouragement. I know you have 19s, what are your wheel/tire/suspension specs again?

Side wall height, right? I mean, it is the stock rear size, maybe too much up front though. I guess, yeah, too much with my rubbing issue. So if the current plan is the minimal drop from dinan springs, which tire size would be the better fit?

+1. They do look just a tad bit wide...but I bet you get phenomenal mechanical grip.

yeah, it's got great turn and initial grip. Can't say that I've pushed it real hard, tires are pretty new (< 200 miles).

wheels look great.

You will need more negative camber and a shorter tire to run that front wheel size, but you can make it fit.
