New M coupe
Im new to the Z4 M community but definitely not new to the BMW scene, having owned 4 BMW's prior to the M coupe (2 E92 M3's, an E46 M3 cabriolet and a 2006 M6). The M coupe is by far my favorite BMW yet, its the most trackable BMW right out of the box and with the mods ive done so far im expecting it to own most E92 M3's. Having owned cars such as the R35 GTR, Lotus Exige and Saleen Mustang, I can appreciate speed and handling but none of the cars I've owned in the past blend them together as well as the M coupe; It has speed that's usable and not overwhelming like my 620 whp GTR and the handling is on par with the Lotus, while still having heated seats and a cd player The looks remind me of classic sports cars and, to me, they have a timeless design that will be cool even 10 years from now. In the 4 years and 30 some odd cars I've owned, this is one of, if not the best rounded car I've owned. She is a keeper, for sure. I haven't got to experience the new supercharger yet, since it's still being installed at Rennspec, but as soon as I get it back I'll post more pictures. Right now I'm looking to hear from you guys; the fellow z4 community. I want to see how y'all enjoy the car, see what parts you guys are doing, etc. Thanks for checking out the thread. Let me know what you think of the mods list and what future mods would be good to have.

I only got to drive it from washington state to cali since ive owned it. i made the trip on the v3's and rpf1's though so it was fun got alot of looks and no tickets haha good road trip in a great car.

I agree with you 100% that this one is a keeper. It is my 4th M car and by far my favorite too. Like you ( but over a longer period of time ) I have been fortunate enough to own over 33 deferent cars. I agree that the M coupe is a perfect balance of looks, power, and handling. That being said, the mod bug bit hard and I have spent the past year fine tuning my M. I have had the ESS SC kit for almost 3k miles and I think you really like the extra power and how it is delivered. It is still very usable power and there is no hesitation at all at the top end. The car is just a confident and drivable, but it gets up to speed much faster. Looking forward to more photos once you get the car back from Rennspec. Cheers man, you are in for one hell of a ride.

The ESS SC has been on my short list since I got my Z4MC. I'm looking forward to seeing your's in person at the next meet-greet.
Think BMWCCA PS is done for the year at the track, but PCA has two driver skills classes at Bremerton in October that you could take the car for a spin in the open autocross. Congrats on the upgrades!

Im planning on doing a a few laps in it at infineon in october since i have a race there for redline time attack i want to compare the boosted M coupe to my stripped out fully built boosted s2000. ill be sure to let everyone know lap times and take a few pictures while im there. Should give a nice comparison since the s2000 only has 300 whp and weighs in around 2800 pounds so the weight advantage goes to the s2000 but im thinking the M coupe will hold its own. lol im way too excited to cruise PCH and show off the new look of the car.!!!

Welcome to the forums. Nice car, I'm sure with those mods it will be a blast at the track.
After reading your first post, I gotta ask: Was that a typo ? By my math, that means you keep your cars for an average of 6 weeks?? |

well the longest cars ive ever owned was my GTR and my S2000 and i still own the S2000. Right now i own the M coupe an evo 9 an R32 skyline and the S2000. i usually have two or three cars at a time at one time i had a alpine white E92 m3 with neez rims a gthaus CF hood and meistershaft titanium exhaust and a 09 ZR1 corvette, then since i live in washington i traded the vette for a gtr, awd was appealing at the but those car are boats no fun for a driver at all. but thats what i did for awhile i traded my cars in after i did thousends of dollars in upgrades since modifying cars is what i enjoy doing most im actually in the process of opening a car shop. lol as i got older though i slowed down quite a bit im still super young but understanding that trading in cars every month is a waste of money and doesnt give a person enough time to truly build the car and appreciate it.

Welcome to the forum. You're a hard act to follow. Have a blast with that upgraded Z4MC. Although I don't have the mods you do I feel even in stock form this is a great car. It's a beautiful design that will age gracefully and a nice package of power, handling and braking.
