Need help locating MDD motion sensor connector

Hello. Installing oem alarm components in 2003 z4 mfg date 7/2003. I have everything removed but can not find the plug/harness for an MDD SENSOR A, 6 944 875 E85. I see the two mounting holes... but no connector. The pdf install from bmw says there should be a black 4 pin connector.

Any help locating it? Thanks.

Or a better question: did ALL Z4s have the wiring connector for the motion sensor? The reason I think this might be a problem is that Alarm Kit 65-73-0-152-393 is from Sept 2002 and does not show a motion detector. However Alarm Kit 65-73-0-309-944 sates "vehicle production 10/2003 - On" and this kit DOES have the motion sensor in the installation instructions.

So the better questions might be to address whether my z4 with an MFG date of 7/2003 actually has this connector in the wiring harness at all.

I have not had luck locating it but I know that BMW tapes them up out of the way when not in use... like the hood switch was.

Any help is appreciated.

I think I see the problem. With a video scope I traced the only wire bundle on the passenger side up towards the front about 4 inches and see a set of wires that have been cut and coated with something like hard goo. See pictures. My thought is it was cut during mfg as this model is in between changes in the alarm system with my mfg date of 7/2003.
