Yeah, for sure... I don't want the guy to rush the job certainly, and thankfully I don't need the car at the moment, so... All good. I just want my shiny new baby back, LOL.

So yeah. Still waiting on the body shop to finish the car. Finally got a call earlier in the week that it (again) was "in the shop." Hope to hear today that it's ready.

Getting sprayed today! Need to replace the right splash cover... A $215+ part. I was hoping it'd be the support; much cheaper. Oh well - at least some progress. *sigh*

Garage List
If you ever plan to track the car, that bumper would be perfect for brake ducts!

I probably won't track it, save for some joy rides at Lime Rock or similar... But I am debating what to do with the brake ducts in the bumper. The bumper assumes you have the Z4M scoops installed (which need to be trimmed to match the bumper's shape inside). I may just remove the door/flap in the wheel well and/or run some tubing. But that would really just blow air into the wheel well.

The other options include capping off the hole or throwing in more fog/driving lights...

It actually happened!

I still have to silicone the new grilles in place (I have matte black ones enroute) and detail the car. So apologies for the quick snap. Literally just picked it up earlier. The headlights were restored while it was apart too... Yay!

Forgot to mention, I installed the BMW "Sport" Antenna. Seems to work very similar to stock so far and definitely updates the look of the car.

Decided on the Sto-n-Sho license plate mount; just have to order/install it.

Got a pair of matte black kidney grilles via China for $23 all-in. Seem to be largely the same on eBay, regardless of cost - so went as cheap as possible. They range in price up to $500 (ROFLMAO).

"Cheap" is the key word here. Mold lines and flashing all over the place 'round back - look fairly decent from the front, especially from 10' or so. Fit is a little looser than stock.

For the Hamann, the grilles need to be siliconed in place either way, so stay tuned...

Got the matte black grilles installed. Can't say I'm impressed with them - or the black goop that Hamann provided. It's some sort of "silicone from hell." Would suggest others going this route to just get proper black silicone from Home Depot or something, LOL.

Also got my Sto-n-Sho license plate mount. Will be installing that this week. Really impressed with this part; built well, decent finish. Best part is, by pulling a retaining ring I can remove the plate for photos.

Pics forthcoming, promise.

I didn't want to go this route for a couple of reasons. Lousy roads and high speeds potentially sending it flying, abrasion to the bumper cover and to a degree, easy theft.

Here's a right shitty photo of the finished product:
