Just had a nice conversation with rogue. The x pipes are being made. If anyone is interested please email them so they can earmark our x pipes and have them ready to send to us first. No one will be charged until they are shipped and no one is set in stone to buy just for showing interest.
Unfortunately no group buys are available. It’s $595 and after their shipping cost and production cost they just don’t have any more wiggle room for a discount. |

Damn Nick that wheel looks nice and $$$$! I'd be down for a GB for the RE X-Pipe, then again it's not STUPID expensive

I didn't want to rev too high since I was in a parking garage. First it's no good racing through there with people around, and second it would have been just a bit too obnoxious. Rest assured though, the higher you get in the RPMs all the sounds are still there. |

The V8 muscle car sound is a little low-brow, IMHO.
Works great on my Son's RAM 1500, but you don't want your sports car to sound like a pickup. My exhaust setup, and the car's looks, remind me of a '68 E-type, and that's the way I likes it. Definitely doesn't sound like a ricer.

Definitely!
I'd caved and purchased one (RE X-pipe) new since nobody seems to be selling them used or may be I was just impatient Got it installed yesterday - Only drove it to and from work to "try" it out. It's definitely louder and gave the car some added grunt - I would say about 15%-20% louder than just the Eisenmann Sport cans. IMHO, this is how Eisenmann Sport should have sounded to begin with. However, I'm not getting (or at least didn't noticed) that added or amplified pops and burbles that everyone was talking about. I'm 95% happy with my setup right now I will be 100% happy if it got some added pops and burbles. Surprisingly, the x-pipe didn't add much volume inside the car cruising with the windows up - just a teenie-weenie bit louder than just the Eisenmann Sport - very wife friendly mod But it does sound very exotic on the outside when you get on it Thanks again Finn for lightening my wallet |

I am running stepped headers, straight pipes, x-pipes and RPI Cans. It is a bit loud but sounds insane at the track. I am thinking about adding resonators at section 1 just to tone it down just a little. I am also running a CSL airbox and the engine is stroked to 3.4 liters, so that is an indication this thing sounds like a beast. |

Thanks M-cast! My set up is similar to yours (without the intake and engine mods). My DKF section 1 has 100 cell cats, my guess is that works close to what a resonator would do. This is what I needed to read to proceed on buying the RE Xpipe

I went with SuperSprint, I have since been trying to source a new section one pipe with some type of High flow cat to bring the sound down a little. I can't bring myself to pay what SS wants for their section one with cats. The straight pipe is great for the track, but it is a bit much for street use.

I recently installed the SS X-pipe and race cans last weekend, really digging the sound so far. No drone, not crazy loud, but better than stock.
Anyway, i know its off topic but i think the x pipe is worth it if you are doing mufflers. Next up is euro headers and cats if i can find a decent set |

Just a headsup!, if you guys do go for the groupbuy, you might wanna see if they have corrected the fitment issue the RE X pipes have. The left exhaust end if lower by about 1.5cm to the other side. you can flush it out depending on what the rest of yoursetup is like, but it should be an easy thing for them to fix up.
