After a huge amount of time and research, (no thanks to Holley/Racepak, zero customer service, don't buy shit from them) finally cracked it.

Love it!
In my senior yr in high school (1970), I had a 55 Chevy 2 dr with post and it was modded....small block/pistons/Duntov 30-30 cam/FI heads/Edelbrock manifold/Holley 780 cfm double pumper/Hooker headers.

I mounted the 8 track player under the driver's seat to keep it out of line of sight....oh, the sounds of CCR, Santana, Iron Butterfly, Sly & The Family Stone.

I think we lived on the wrong side of the tracks for QUADROPHONIC....

Vanne - please forgive me for jacking your thread - it brought a few laughs; we mortals remain in awe at your build - The Beast is soon to be released.

Since we're high jacking and going off topic ...First two Bass lines I ever learned was In a gadda da vida and Iron Man both great to learn for tuning up while playing something. Keeping in mind with over 25 years ago some of the details are fuzzy but when my grandfather died his neighbor came over to our house and my brother and I were in my room playing on my bass, my grandfathers neighbor knocked on the door hearing me play in a gadda da vida and come to find out he was either the band manager or record recording manager or damn someone who was a manager with album production with the band and ended up giving my brother one of the vinyl's from his collection lol

Now my best bud growing up who went on tour with Lizzy Borden and Yngwie Malmsteen that's waaay off topic But he confirmed it's so true from Spinal Tap large round cold cuts really don't work on square crackers/biscuits

Just another sign music really does bring us all together.

Sorry Vanne continue

wdb - it's all your fault for posting about QUADROPHONIC

piper1 - such a surreal story about the iron butterfly connection

vanne - THANK YOU for allowing the mere mortals to get a laugh whilst The Beast awaits release....

Finally getting to do a bit more work on the car. Still sorting out some variables with the race dash, and caught the car in some good lighting. thought it was worth a pic.
