Is a 03-06 2.5i air filter box the same with a 3.0?
Unfortunately Dinan no longer makes the High Flow Intake for a 03-06 2.5i, but they still make it for the 3.0 (part # D760-0011) . I tried doing some research to compare whether the air filter box (lid) is the same for a 03-06 2.5i and 03-08 3.0, but wasn't able to locate part #s. Do any of you know if the air filter box is the same for a 03-06 2.5i and 03-08 3.0? I really want a Dinan High Flow Intake .

Is it possible to retrofit the entire air box with a Dinan top from an earlier car into a later model? Would one expect an increase in flow with a retrofit box in a 3.0 Si car? The Dinan air filter visually appears to have much greater surface area then the oe filter (= greater flow with acceptable filtration). Any issues with the MAF?
TIA

I finally found the info on realoem and it appears they have different part #s for the air box, air mass meter, and misc parts . It looks like it requires replacing a lot parts to retrofit the 3.0 intake to get the Dinan High Flow inake to fit

if you can spend 7 bills on emblems, you can surely drop 1100 on a gruppe m intake
