Airbag bypass module

07 M model and not eligible for passenger occupancy mat recall. I bought a cheap bypass module off ebay and while it airbag light disappeared I had two issues. First it made the car think someone was sitting even though it was empty. That was fine since I can still buckle the seatbelt or buy a seatbelt clip/adapter. The second problem was major, my battery would drain all the way down to the point where I couldn't turn the motor if I left the car sitting for more than 3 days.

I noticed there are newer emulator that comes with a seat belt emulator. Has anyone tried one that works and doesn't have battery drain? Thanks

Weird, I wonder why it would pull power even if it thought someone was sitting in it.

I'm guessing the module I had made it always on. I was looking at the one you linked. Do you know what those dip switches are supposed to be set to?
