Norcal - bay area Install help needed for shocks
I would like to install a set of h&r springs and bilstein shocks sometime next week and was wondering if anyone on here who has had experience installing it can help. I would bring it to a regular shop, but I'm scared that one of the techs may damage the rear cargo area while disassembling the trunk area to get to the shock mounts. PM me your prices please

ooh good luck man. I'd help, but...
1) I'm in China right now for overseas internship 2) I wouldn't be able to guarantee 100% undamaged rear cargo/trunk area What part of the bay are you from? Are you close to Milpitas at all? There are two shops there I can recommend. Bavarian Motorwerks, and their nextdoor neighbor TC Design. Perhaps contact them both for quotes? I'm pretty sure they can offer 100% guarantee for undamaged trunk. |

I know you're scared to go to a shop but Edge Motorworks in the east bay has always done great work to my cars, those guys are top notch if you don't end up finding a board member to help you out.
On a side note, after you install, would love to see pictures. I'm debating between Eibach/Bilstein combo and H&R/Bilstein and would love to see pictures or even meet up in person to check it out. Good luck! |
