I knew an Austrian family that made almond "brandy." It was essentially moonshine. Delicious, but deadly if you weren't careful.

I've been in cocktail mode lately. Here is a Manhattan from the holiday weekend made with Woodford, Antiqua Formula and those Luxardo cherries. Cheers!

Blatant display of fruit intolerance. Fruitism at its worst.

Store run last night. Decided to switch up my usual Plantation XO.
This will make for a tasty evening with friends...

RZ is pretty good. I can't find it locally very often but when I visit in-laws in Montreal they always have a little wooden cask on the counter. I need to go back soon

Not really. But 2 things: Remember, I don't mind sweet drinks. I explore different mixes/mixers. I mixed some rum with cold mineral water and a dash of Cointreau a couple months back and it was delicious and a big hit with guests.
Also, Zacapa isn't as sweet as some of my other preferred rums. It's quite Oaky/woody than others I drink.

P12 was on sale today at Binny's, so I grabbed two bottles. Not a huge savings, but no sense leaving money on the shelf.

What is that orange liqueur? Is it sweet or is it bitter like triple sec? I've never seen it before.
