first photo was pretty 'wow', definitely adds a more aggressive stance to the front fascia. however, subsequent photos show a bit of a shape to fitment issue. not fancying the extra bit sticking out in to the wheel wells....

bolt on? and how much did it cost?

Looks good at first glance......but as previously mentioned.....final fit shows GENERAL purpose fit at best I thought to self.

Maybe if its fitted more forward...the shape to OEM profile might fade more and look better ?? just a thought.

Yes it is bolt on and comes with predrilled holes, yeah its not ACS or Hamaan, but for under $300 its not bad

Looks good Nofear.
A couple questions: Is it solid or hollow. What material is it made of?
If it is solid and a somewhat flexible material, one could re-drill the mounting holes to move it forward a bit, and/or chop the extra that protrudes in to the wheel well.
They have done 90% of the work, just needs some fine tuning.

Garage List
i posted this few weeks ago when i first saw it on ebay. asked seller if it was z4 specific and it is not, a generic one size fits all type of piece. it's made of carbon fiber.

nofear - you said it's bolt-on and pre-drilled but i presume you had to drill into your existing bumper? it's not like it lines up with existing mounting holes right?

It has a couple of holes in the centre and 2 on each end.... The ones on each end mount with the bumper fascia perfectly, the others you just screw on to the bumper with provided screws ..... Actually I like the quality of it .... As I said for under 300 bucks it ain't bad

Where can I find this front lip? Just searched around, didn't find the lip neither on their website:

http://www.jl-motoring.com/Z4_03_s/61.htm
(there are no products in the Z4 category at all?)

...nor on ebay.

///edit: just found it!

What is the support like in the middle?

Also, can you move it forward? Will the holes show?

Well mine came predrilled as I asked for it that way....and so I had to place it to fit the holes on the underside of the bumper.....if I moved it forward, you would have seen the holes,so best bet would be to get it without the predrilled holes and place it anyway you like it

The support unfortunately is not all that great in the middle....I wish they made it a little bit more solid,I was doing about 95mph yesturday and there was a large plastic bottle in the middle of the road and I tried to avoid it but couldnt and it got stuck in the middle between the bumper and the lip and there was my first trauma to the lip....did not break but got stratched pretty bad
