2003 DSP Amp issue
I was wondering if I purchased a used DSP amp from an X3 (listed as exchangeable), would I have to have it coded for the e85 cabin?
Also, headunits are interchangeable, correct? I picked up a 2006 unit and it seems to be working, but I wanted to double check I don't need to code the headunit to work with the older amp, etc. |

The head unit doesn't get coded, but must be listed as exchangeable with your Z....
The amp will need to be coded with e85 settings which you can do using NCS Expert/NCS Dummy with the right setup to access the amp. I did that when I bought an amp for my '04. Alternatively the dealer will do it for you at a cost to your pocket book.....
