DSP Radio Swap
I have navigation with the DSP radio. The radio has no screen. I'd like to replace it with the dsp radio that does (used on non-nav) cars. Does anyone know the p/n by chance?

Using realoem is proper way to ascertain what radio is needed. However you need it input the year of the car to "pull up" the correct version of DSP equipped business radio that would need to be installed.
I have a '04 with the DSP version radio necessary for the Carver 10 speaker system that came installed. If you have a similar year car I can look up the the information.... realoem will give a list of superseded and current radio pn's

When he said he wanted one "with a screen" I didn't realize he (apparently) just meant the tiny 1-line display on the normal "Business CD" head unit.

Ah...ok. Got one from ebay and it works like a charm. No programming needed. Aux input works and everything. Now i just need to swap out the dash and i've gotten rid of the antiquated navigation system in my car! |
