Lon - add me to the list. If I couldn't get a DS before 12/23, I'll just pay the additional $129 for instructor |

http://www.ggcbmwcca.org/driving-eve...ontrol-clinics There are couple date to choose from so get on the list quick. Here is another link to California track maps. I read it before track day to get an idea of the track or refresh your memory. I don't track that often. http://www.pca-ggr.org/node/106 |

I think I may end up joining you guys out there for this one!
But in the mean time, will I be seeing any fellow Zposters at Thunderhill on Aug 24th?

I'm doing a very last-minute impromptu Buttonwillow track day with some of the 2012 Nissan GT Academy finalists on Sunday August 19th for anyone that might be free

I'll be there at Buttonwillow on the 19th as well. Hopefully it will be a bit cooler by then. It will be nice to meet some of you Norcal folks.

I'm heading down a few days earlier so I can have Tekarbon work on my headlights and since I'm going with a group of friends, I can hitch a ride around LA and even San Diego as well. We plan on searching out some good eats and karting locales down in SoCal |

Folks, Solo is almost full, so if you're a newer driver, or haven't driven Laguna before, sign up now or you'll miss your chance! (I'm running in Solo, even though I'm in Point-By, since this is a new track for me.)
Who is in now? Let's update the list. If you're in, let us know! Official Attendance List: 1. mfanatic325 (Lon) 2. RobMCoupe (Rob) 3. Finnegan (Ron) 4. Skelekitty (Krissi) 5. snk (Sat) 6. Aestheticstorm (Errol) 7. Dorifto88 (Mike)? 8. kcdedric? 9. Gferil (Gernard)? 10. Beta (Vonleigh)? |

Looking to be fun!
So what was the verdict for this specific day? Are they offering instruction at additional cost or no? My buddy Eric with the red lotus might be down to join us |

Yep just registered...thanks Ron for the email, PM, and post reminder! Hahah...I've been on a plane in a different city (and sometimes country) every week for the past 4 weeks for work and will continue to do so til early September so my mind has been a bit scattered lately. Looking forward to my first time at Laguna Seca!

I signed up, though I will probably bring the E36 instead as it better fits the wife, dog and all of the holiday jazz for that week.

Anybody have any pointers regarding sound check and rain delay info on laguna seca. Seems really stringent. And the rain policy seems stiff

As for sound, worst case scenario is lift-off and/or upshift to 4th gear between turns 5 and 6 where the sound check hut is Orrrr if you wanna go through the hassle of putting stock mufflers on, you could do that too =/ |
