If this works on non m I'll take
E86z, Option 2, Grey

I'm fairly sure the clusters are identical except for the outer speedo ring having numbers for the m and just lines for the non m

Google is your friend - I did a lot of googling to see which colour would work best and how they would look like in more "natural" lighting. I personally ended up going to safe route and chose red to match my red interior and carbon leather trim - Unless someone wants to convince me otherwise (I have also thought about yellow, white, or grey)!

Below is from a guy over at E90post that ordered the light blue from venoxy:

He has another photo in his post: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...php?p=25188690

But I wasn't able to find a venoxy dark blue gauge (guess they aren't as popular). But I suspect he probably uses a colour similar to what Alpina uses, maybe a shade lighter.

Hope that helps with your decision making! I know I spent more hours than I should have Googling this and also sitting in my car (not enjoying a drive) looking at the cluster.

Thanks mmns999

I reached out to the supplier and they provided actual images of M3 gauges so I put them on a dark background for you. I hope that helps.

Thanks I saw some of the e90s ones your referenced, I also reached out to that poster a couple days ago to for more photos/video. I was thinking the light blue might look great when illuminated while at times I didn't know if the dark blue was too dark.

Thank you both for your feedback and Cylcops for reaching out!

Any word on lowering the coupe/roadster logo just a little bit, to centred it vertically in between the DTC and Coolant lamps? It is too close to EML and DTC lamps in my opinion

I'm not sure what you mean? The logo is aligned horizontally with the ///M logo on the speedo vertically with the centre of the needle. Can you just cut and paste the logo where you want it so I understand what you mean?

Sure, I did a quick paint job, in this version both, the M and Coupe logos are perhaps 1-1.5mm shifted down and both remained aligned. The spacing of the logo script is now more centred vertically in the space between EML, DTC and Coolant lamps

Oh OK, that makes sense to move both "///M logo" and the "coupe" down, I thought you only wanted to move the "coupe logo"

Mine is a 2006 US cluster. The white overlays I first received were for a 2003-2005.

OK so we can include a non-M version at the same price of the M version so let me know how many of you are interested E86Z thrak410 nate96 Vid714 dbarton62 . I would need to know the current cluster you have and if it's manual or auto as the warning lights are different I'm told. Ideally, when you place your order we'd need a photo of your current cluster.

Speedo: KM/hr or MPH
Tach: 7000k or 7500 RPM max
Transmission: Auto or Manual

1st post update. Since we achieved the best discount I'll start collecting actual order details, so for the guys on the list please fill out this google order form to make it official. If you want to participate this is your last chance to get in on the Group Buy.

UPDATE:
OK looks like we achieved the $47.99 discount level so I'll close the Group Buy on July 6th. To get things moving quickly please fill out this google order form which will collect all the details for your order and allow us to quote the correct shipping amount. For the mon-M guys, I will make a different form so give me a couple of days to make it. Once the GB is closed I'll forward that to the supplier and they'll invoice you individually. When your order has been printed and shipped you'll get a tracking number. Turnaround time is about 3-4 weeks.

Filled out the form. Also here are some photos of the light blue gauges from a fellow Bimmerpost member. I think I'm going with these as the dark blue look somewhat purplish.

The light blue looks like BMW polar blue which I like and when slightly illuminated look pretty sweet.
