Stray Sensor

Hey guy,

I am in the process of finishing up a head gasket replacement on an 2003 Z4 3.0i, and have one stray sensor that I can not locate the female component for. I have been looking for quite some time and haven't found anything in the area on the vehicle or online.

The sensor is tied into the forward most portion of the wiring harness on the passenger side and branches off the larger male sensor which attaches to the fan shroud/radiator assembly. The sensor has 2 brown, 1 yellow and 1 blue wire feeding into it. I have removed the fan shroud/radiator assembly, wheel well and do not see anything that would match.

Apologies if this is the incorrect sub, or if this is covered in another post

Thanks for the feedback, it looks very similar to the fog light sensor, but that one is matched up, with this one still free.

nah, its the thermo fan plug. does yours work? always on/off? id probably be inclined to think its never on if that plug isnt not connected.
