Yeah, I knew that. Keeping the 9500ix and returning the 8500 unopened. If the 9500ix doesn't suit my needs for some reason I will sell it and get either the RedLine or the Max 360.

Owning several Escorts myself, if you want GPS, get the Uniden LRD 950. It has GPS and it blows the ix and 360 away in range and costs $200. The only thing it doesn't have is arrows.

The V1 was always known for the arrows which was a huge advantage and now it seems Escort has leveled the playing field.

Might just get the V1 because the 360 delays all the time, the arrows aren't accurate...

I agree that a radar detector alone is obviously not the end all be all however arrows on the highway are a nice feature.

Well if you pair it up with your phone, you can have gps lockout
