E85/E86 Facelift Taillight Overlays

This project started when i saw i2ichal2dZ4M's post of his taillights and really loved what he did with it. It really gave the Z a really updated 2014 look! I decided to get some vinyl film experiment a bit and got to work! With some adjustments I was able to make a precise duplicate and am now able to offer these in bulk for for the community. Please note that these are for the E85/E86 Facelifted Taillight:

V2 OVERLAY TAILLIGHT INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Overlay is 3 layers (Top protectant w/ label, Overlay, and Adhesive protecting layer)

1) Find a dry area, preferably a garage to do the install
2) Clean taillight off completely with the Quick Detailer or car cleaning degreasing agent
3) Use scisssors to cut off excess white material from the overlay as close to the shape of the overlay as possible, but with some excess to manuever the overlay when installing
4) Hold corresponding overlay up to the taillight (each overlay is labeled) to get an idea of where you will be applying the overlay
Optional: Spray taillight with water (this will help with placement of the overlay in case you mess up)
5) Peel off the bottom layer of the overlay
6) Take the top translucent layer with the clear red film attached and align the outer round edge of the overlay with the outside curve of the taillight ensuring the edge of the overlay is applied entirely on the taillight and not any area beyond the light
7) Slowly work the overlay towards the center of the car avoiding building up any air bubbles under the vinyl
Note: Slide the overlay around on the taillight to correct the position if needed if you used the wet application method
8) Use the rubber squeegee or a credit card to work the water out from under the overlay as needed
9)Once in position peel off the top protecting part of the overlay that has the labels 'Left' and 'Right'
10) Check work to ensure there are no air bubbles and if needed use a razor blade to carefully lift the overlay and re-apply the areas with trapped air bubbles
11) Use a hair dryer to dry off any excess moisture from vinyl
12) Dry off Taillight with a microfiber cloth
13) Admire your completed taillight overlay install!

Cut out a few sets tonight ready to be sent out Friday! Here's a pic of how it looks on a Alpine White E85/E86 (excuse the dirt and water for its raining pretty hard out). Really love how the film changes the look of the car giving it a brand new refreshed 2014 look! Ready to make a few more sets!

Ill take a set, I ghettoly applied some vinyl to my tail lights a couple months ago, its looks great from 3ft+ but Ive been meaning to re-do it. So this will save me some time.
