Peeling plastic Q: Center trim
I have several area of plastic trim peeling and since i'm swapping out the center trim, I figure Ill do it all at once..
Using this video for repainting.. I have the beige now and have aluminum trim. Do you guys think I should leave the color the same or redo it with a different color.. Using instructions from here to remove https://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1230786

I have painted plastics in the past.
Prep is paramount. Be sure to thoroughly degrease, apply etching primer and proper plastic(vinyl) paint. I used PPG products specifically for plastics and the results were very good. As far as colour goes. My 3.0 came with the beige interior which were promptly stripped and swapped to black. Be advised you will likely break tabs off during disassembly. The plastics get very brittle from the sun.

I replaced the entire interior except the dash with an OEM interior in my Z4
The aluminum trim was powder coated black Not sure how you would do the door cards. I had the seats rebolstered and recovered in Alcantara and leather The interior I painted was in a 67 Mustang.
