Per Real OEM, the roadster bars are 27mm and 21.5mm, so just the rear bar is smaller vs. the coupe.

So, up front you can use the Racing Dynamics 27mm bushings in the stock brackets, as per the coupe.

For the rear, even though the bar diameter is smaller, it looks like the roadster uses the same bracket as does the coupe and the M3:

So, what you need is a 21.5mm E46 M3 rear bushing. Try http://store.bimmerworld.com/powerfl...ngs-p1368.aspx, with the following selections: Select Model = E46 M3 (Rear), Select Axle = Rear, Select Sway Bar Diameter = 21.5.

Should work, but please go behind me and verify everything.

Note on Racing Dynamics: I originally ordered from their website, and after a number of weeks I'd heard nothing--no order confirmation, no backorder notice, no charge on my credit card, nothing. Like the order didn't exist. I found on their website that they're located in Alexandria, and since I was passing through there on business, I stopped by to inquire. The place was kind of bizarre--10% racing parts, 40% art studio, 50% not sure what. Nice people, though. They had no record of the order, were puzzled by that but had no answer, and so they sold me a set over the counter. Of course, a few days later the original order shows up. The're cheap at $25 per set, so I just kept the extra set as a spare. If you order from them, stay on top of it, maybe see if you can get them on the phone instead of ordering off the web. This is, of course, just a single transaction...

Good luck, and please let the other roadster folks know how it works out.

How is the NVH with all of these urethane bushings installed? Sounds like a nice cheap way to sharpen up the suspension.

NVH = NBD (No Big Deal). To me, the car feels "more of one piece", which I attribute to the RSMs. This is subjective, though, and subject to the quality of roads that you drive on. Easy to reverse, too.

The bushing I'm really curious about, for NVH, is the FCAB. If someone would just come through with urethane FCABs so we could try them out... Those Delrin bushings keep calling to me, but I know those will shake my fillings out, and will probably last 5,000 miles on the street.

Yeah Delrin is terrible for NVH. Whats the deal with neoprene I know RE uses neoprene on the transmission mounts I bought from them and they are awesome. Any reason nobody else uses neoprene

Garage List
Resurrecting a somewhat old thread.

I measured the front and rear anti-roll bar brackets on the MC.

The front mounting studs are 90mm (3.5") center to center.
The rear mounting studs are 76mm (3.0") center to center.
