Any DIY tut on how to replace camber arms?
Hi there,
I am wondering if anyone can point me to a DIY guide on how to replace my BMW Z4 E85 camber arms? I bought a pair of adjustable camber arms and I would like to know what I'm getting myself into before I tackle it. Thanks friends! |

They're pretty straight forward to install.
Tips: - Put rear of car up on jack stands, not up on ramps. - Remove wheels to reduce pressure on the bolts that hold the control arm in place. - Use the OEM control arm as a guide and set the adjustable control arm to the same length as an initial starting point.

The upper(inner) connection is the worst part of the removal and install of the camber arms. It has a nut affair with a stem on it that you need to hold up inside the recess on the subframe.
As always work with caution. Always use jack stands
