Front Lip

Didn't like the lip options out there, so I made my own:

Nicely done, do you have any pics of your building process?

Thanks! I have one pic of construction. Fortunately, the bottom is pretty flat so it was relatively easy to build. I used a strip of masking tape along the bottom to mark the positions of the holes. Then I peeled it, put it on a piece of cardboard and drew the shape around the hole positions. Once i got the shape I wanted, I moved the template to a 1/4" lightweight wooden board. I made them in 3 pieces (2 sides and 1 center). This made it easier to get the symmetry right. After I cut out the shapes in wood, I built on top using 1/2" styrofoam sheets. This made it easy to shave and shape with a nice even height. From there, it was all fiber glass and bondo to reinforce the shape. You can see the layers of material in the photo.

I agree, can't say I care for most of what I have seen, yours is clean and simple, very smart looking.
I've been thinking about making a lip out of 1/8"aluminum sheet but fabricating it out of one piece is daunting, 3 separate pieces would be a lot easier, great idea.
